Delete your EgoProfile account
You can delete your EgoProfile account and the data attached to it at any time, from the app or the website. It takes effect immediately and can't be undone.
If you can sign in
- If you pay for Pro, cancel it first — in Settings, under Billing, choose Cancel subscription. Deleting your account doesn't stop the payment on its own, so we won't delete an account while a subscription is still set to renew.
- Sign in and open Settings. In the app, it's also under Settings.
- Scroll to Danger zone, choose Delete my account, and confirm.
If you can't sign in
Email info@egoprofile.ai from the address on your account, with the subject “Delete my EgoProfile account”. We'll confirm it's you, cancel any subscription, and delete the account within 30 days — usually much sooner.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in details
- Your profile and the life-context answers that tailor scenarios
- Your egogram and every chapter result
- Your journal entries and post-chapter reflections
- AI portraits, insights, weekly recaps and debriefs
- Rehearsal Room and 8-Week Challenge history — contract, check-ins, daily cards, rehearsals
- Your subscription record with us
- Your address on our email list and any waitlist
- If you're a practitioner: your client list, session notes, appointments and invites
What we can't delete, and why
- Payment records held by our payment processors (Razorpay, Dodo Payments) are theirs to keep under tax and accounting law, and are governed by their own privacy policies.
- Notes a practitioner wrote about you, if you were their client, belong to their records. Deleting your account removes their link to your EgoProfile data; ask them directly about their notes.
- Admin records. If our team ever changed your account — granting a plan, for example — the record of that action keeps your email address, for security. It holds no results or journal content.
- Backups. Deleted data is gone from our live database straight away, but can remain in our database provider's encrypted backups until they expire. Backups are used only to recover from a disaster.
- Links you've shared. A results link (egoprofile.ai/share/…) carries only your five scores inside the link itself — we store nothing behind it — so we can't recall one you've already sent.
- Quizzes taken signed out on a device where you never signed in can't be linked to you, so we have no way to find them. Their results live in that browser; clearing its site data removes them.
